    Hi! My DH is at WDW for work near Princess 1/2 time! My questions are when do they plan on releasing the map for the 10K - not sure I'll be ready for the 1/2! If my DS (7) wants to run, which race would you rec and when will that schedule be out? THX!

    Hi Elizabeth!

    Your husband's work trip is the perfect excuse to sign up for a Princess Half Marathon weekend race!

    RunDisney is still finalizing the course map for the new 10K race.  I do know it will run through Epcot and around the Epcot area resorts.  I think you will love that area,  it's my personal favorite place to run in all of Disney World.

    For your son, I would recommend one of the Kids Races.  There will be Kids Races on both Friday and Saturday mornings.  There are multiple distances, but I think a 7 year-old, with a little training, would love the Mickey Mile!  

    The schedule of times and courses for all of these races should be up in the next month or so.  The 10K will start at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, so either day of Kids Races should work for your schedule.
