    Hi Michelle:

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a wonderful family experience. HDD is one of Disney World's longest running dinner shows, and it's easy to understand why. The show is entertaining, the cast is talented, the atmosphere is festive, the jokes are plentiful (and corny), and the food is finger-licking tasty. While I highly recommend the show, without knowing your exact budget and the type of entertainment you enjoy, I'll give you a some highlights to help you decide whether the experience is right for your family.

HDD is a vaudeville-style dinner show with a country twist. Dinner is served family style and includes favorites like fried chicken, smoked bbq pork ribs, fresh corn bread, strawberry shortcake and the most delicious country-style baked beans I have ever tasted. To help measure the dinner's value, remember that the food and most drinks are all-you-can-consume, so you'll leave satisfied.

As you enjoy the food, the extraordinary HDD cast puts on a show full of dancing, singing, and comedy. While theoretically there may be a cynical young adult or two out there who may be too cool for some of the corny humor, your two older children seem to be at the right age to really get a laugh from the jokes. HDD is very interactive and the cast frequently takes the show from the stage and into the audience to sing songs and engage the guests. Towards the end of the performance, a handful of lucky audience members are asked to join the show for the grand finale.

To help plan your budget, note that there is no cost for your infant and there are several categories of seating. While the most expensive seats are closest to the stage, all seats in the theatre enjoy great views of the show, and a portion of the show takes place right in the audience. So you may consider opting for less expensive seating.

Personally, I love HDD, and hope you decide the show is right for your family.
