hi! we are going to be @ WDW 6/29-7/6. Just wondering what we should expect for crowds? And, also heard its very humid and rains everyday :( A little afternoon rain would be ok, just hopefully not all day! thank you for any insight you can give :D

Hi Laura! A couple of years ago my family and I visited the Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate Independence Day. If you have a decent touring plan, crowds won't be a problem at all. Generally speaking, I would recommend arriving at the theme-parks for Rope Drop, daily opening ceremonies, leaving mid-day for a break at your resort hotel, then returning to the parks for dinner and evening fireworks. While it is hot that time of the year in central Florida, it will certainly be manageable. Just be sure to stay hydrated and leave the park mid-day, when it gets really hot and more crowded. If it rains, it is typically a passing afternoon shower, though you may have the occasional downpour, before it clears up again. If you want to read about my recommendations on how to celebrate the 4th of July holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort, go here. Please let me know if I may be of any further assistance. Have a memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
