Hi! I've never been to WDW before and wondered if I would make my Hollywood & Vine 8:55 a.m. reservation on time if Hollywood Studios opens at 8:30.

    Hi there, Amber!

Welcome to planDisney! We love welcoming new Guests to The Most Magical Place on Earth and helping you create memories that will last a lifetime! As a first-time Guest, check out this planDisney Podcast full of first-timer tips to help make the most of your vacation.

You have made a great choice to start one of your days at Hollywood & Vine’s Disney Junior Play n' Dine – Breakfast at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Spending the morning with some of my favorite friends and eating Mickey-shaped waffles is one of my favorite things to do.

And I have great news for you, Amber. You will have no problem making your way to your dining reservation in time if you enter the park at opening time! Once you pass through security and the entry touch-points, it's just a short walk up Hollywood Boulevard and then turn left after you pass Mickey’s of Hollywood merchandise shop. You will see Hollywood & Vine on your left across from Echo Lake. Even on a busy morning, this should only take about 10 minutes. It is super simple, but if you have any questions, just ask a friendly Cast Member for directions.

Amber, remember that you will need to purchase theme park tickets and make a Theme Park Reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the day of your dining reservation. Please make sure you do this now if you haven’t already as a dining reservation does not guarantee theme park entrance.

If you are a Guest of a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you also qualify for 30-minute Early Entry into the theme parks and complimentary resort transportation. These are just two of the ways staying at a Disney Resort Hotel can help you and your family have more time to create more memories.

One more tip for you, Amber, is to make sure to download the My Disney Experience app. This app is like having your own personal guide to planning transportation options, navigating the parks, making dining reservations plus ordering meals and snacks on the go. The My Disney Experience also unlocks the magic of Disney Genie Service and Disney PhotoPass Service, and so much more!

Amber, my planDisney pals and I want to help you have the most magical experience on your upcoming vacation, so please write back to me here and let me know what other questions you may have. I have lots of tips and tricks to share!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
