Hello! We will be going to WDW in 2 weeks and want to have dinner with friends who live in Florida. Can our friends park at our hotel (Beach Club) for free? Or can they park for free at the Boardwalk area? We are thinking of dining at ESPN. Thank you!

    Hi Sandra!

Your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up so fast and you're staying at one of my favorite summertime Disney Resort hotels, Disney's Beach Club Resort.  I hope you're packing swim suits!

Friends visiting you at your Disney Resort hotel can park for free when meeting up for a meal.  They'll need to let the guard at the gate know who they are meeting with and they'll direct you to where you can park.

Day guests visiting Disney's BoardWalk might have a little trouble unless they have a dinner reservation because the parking lot is small and is usually reserved for guests staying at Disney's BoardWalk Inn or guests with dining reservations.  If you'll have dining reservations, let your friends know the name it is under so they are able to park for free.  I have been turned away a couple of times when I just wanted to visit the BoardWalk in the evening for a stroll.

I haven't personally eaten at ESPN Club, but I have heard great things about the food and the atmosphere.  I'm sure you'll have a great time!

    Have a magical day!
