We are going to WDW 3rd weekend in Jan. Will it be warm enough to use pools? Isn't it typically 70's with 50's at night?

Hi Mary.   You are spot on with the average temperatures for January.   Here is a helpful link to monthly Orlando temperatures.

Now as to your question about using pools, let me start by saying your definition of warm may differ  as you are from the wonderful state of Minnesota and I am from Florida.   I personally find the temperature a bit cool during that time to spend much time in the water.   However, the Disney resorts will keep certain pools temperature controlled so short periods of time in the water may be reasonable.   I find that the water parks are a different story based upon my one visit during the winter time.   Being wet and walking around the park was not terribly comfortable for my family given the time spent outside the water.   Enjoy your vacation!
