We are going to WDW the week of Thanksgiving 2016. We would really like to eat a traditional thanksgiving meal. I saw where there are restaurants offering thanksgiving meals but they don't list a menu. Any ideas?

    Hi Blair,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort is just about as magical as it gets! The Theme Parks and Resort Hotels are festively decorated and overflowing with the spirit of the season!

Information about 2016 Thanksgiving menu offerings has not yet been released. As the holiday gets closer, the Restaurants that will be offering a traditional Thanksgiving meal and their menus will be posted. I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the website for updated information and holiday announcements.

One of my favorite places for a Thanksgiving meal is Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom Park. The Restaurant resembles an 18th-century Patriot's home, so it's the perfect atmosphere for a Thanksgiving feast. The menu offers all-you-can-eat platters of turkey, brisket, pork, mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies, and macaroni and cheese served family style. The best thing about Liberty Tree Tavern...you can enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal any day of the year, not just on Thanksgiving Day.

Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
