We will be @ WDW week of Thanksgiving 2013 I was looking @ the MVMCP datess for this year & noticed there were none for Thanksgiving week I know dates for 2013 have not been released just wondering do they normally not have MVMCP the week of Thanksgi

    Hi, Shane!

Your technique of looking at this  year's plans in order to better plan your visit next year is a great one! While changes are made from year to year, Guests can often determine what's likely to occur during their stay by looking at the trends of years gone by.

Typically, Magic Kingdom Park closes early on a night when there is a special ticketed event such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and the parks are very popular during that week, so closing MK early is unlikely.

Not to worry, though. There is still so much holiday merriment to enjoy that week throughout the four parks and all of the resorts. You can still plan a festive visit to Walt Disney World during Thanksgiving week, even without MVMCP. Send me another question including where you'll be staying, if you'll be on a Dining Plan and how many are in your party; I'd love to help you plan the perfect holiday getaway!
