Hi Michael,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I just returned from a stay at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and on one night my family and I went to the Top of the World Lounge to view Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. The view of these Magic Kingdom fireworks from atop Bay Lake Tower is lovely.
The current policy is that any Disney Vacation Club member, as well as those in the traveling party staying on the member's reservation, can enjoy Top of the World Lounge. You do not need to be staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort; your reservation at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, as long as it is through your Disney Vacation Club membership, will be fine. You will need to be sure that at least one Disney Vacation Club member is in the party going to Top of the World Lounge. You will need to have your
MagicBand or Key to the World card to gain admission. You will also need proof that you are a Disney Vacation Club member, so if this is not noted on your
MagicBand or Key to the World card, be sure to take your Disney Vacation Club membership ID card with you.
For the complete policy on Top of the World Lounge admission, visit the
Disney Vacation Club member website. One you have logged in, go to the tab for "Destinations" and scroll down to Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Scroll down this page a little and you will find a section with information on Top of the World Lounge.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Michael! Have a great time on your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
