We are going to WDW the week of sept 14-20. We do not have the park hopper option. We are planning to go to the park in the morning and take a break and head back to the same park at night can we do this without park hopper option ???

Your Magic Your Way ticket without park hopper allows you to come and go from the same park as much as you like in a single day. As long you return to the same park that you visited in the morning, you won't be park hopping.

Park hopping is when you visit more than one park in a single day. For example, touring Animal Kingdom in the morning and then Magic Kingdom in the afternoon/evening.

Enjoy your vacation. I hope it's simply magical!
