We will be in WDW for a week in April and are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Will we be able to see any fireworks from the resort grounds? Thanks!

Hi Kim.  We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside in September.  During our stay there we didn't ever catch a glimpse of the fireworks from anywhere on the resort grounds.  I wondered though if we just weren't in the right place at the right time, so I called Port Orleans Riverside this morning.  The friendly Cast Member I spoke with didn't know offhand if fireworks were visible from the resort so she checked around and found that unfortunately, there really isn't a place to view the fireworks from the hotel grounds.

I do know that Epcot's fireworks are visible from the Beach Club resort area and Magic Kingdom's Wishes can easily be viewed from the beach at the Polynesian resort.  Both are nice places to visit, perhaps for dinner.  If you're looking for a nighttime activity closer to "home" you might consider doing a horse-drawn carriage ride through the Port Orleans Riverside grounds.  If you're interested, call 407-WDW-PLAY for more information and reservations (up to 90 days out).
