I will be going to WDW in 2018 to visit MK, AK, and HS. There are only 2 weeks I can go: March 12 or June 11. Which week would be less crowded and have shorter ride lines? I will be traveling with a group of 10 including children ages 4, 10, 13

    Hi Erica!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you have an amazing trip planned with kiddos at a variety of ages, how fun!

As far as crowds go there are two different things to consider with the dates you are looking at. March is notorious for the Spring Break travelers, but June is open for summer vacations. Overall I think you will find that later in March is when you'll see the crowds pick up so in my experience, you'll find shorter wait times and fewer crowds with the March dates you have picked.

One thing I do want to let you know about though, depending on the interest of the kids you'll be traveling with, is that Toy Story Land is scheduled to open in Summer 2018. If you have any big fans of Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody in your bunch, you may want to pick the June date regardless of crowds.

Please let us know if you have any other questions in planning your 2018 Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
