Our 1st WDW visit is in mid-March. Want to tour resorts one day & was wondering which resort's restaurant you would recommend for young kids (4 & 6) for lunch? Also, do Disney restaurants allow meals to be split between 2 people? Thanks for your

    Hi Sarah!

I love this idea!  We love checking out other resorts and dreaming about our next visit!  Since you are heading out this March, I wanted to recommend a restaraunt that was completely awesome AND would most likely still have availability.  Not only is this possibly the most over the top, perfectly themed resort, but it is just a stone's throw away from the Magic Kingdom!  So which resort am I thinking of????

Drum roll please.....The Wilderness Lodge Resort!   The Whispering Canyon Cafe is an absolute riot and the food is delicious!  Your kids can joke around with the waiters and even participate in a broom "horse" race throughout the restaurant.  We always have so much fun cutting up here and we always leave completely stuffed!  As long as you are paying out of pocket and not on the Dining Plan, you may certainly share a meal at this particular restaraunt.

You can stroll through the resort yourself and explore all of the hidden nooks and hideaways found throughout the lobby.  Grab a rocking chair by the fireplace and relax while the kids play Lincoln Logs.  You can even stroll next door to the Wilderness Lodge Villas and check out the Iron Spike Room, a train lovers paradise!   While outside, you can rent some bikes or just walk along one of the trails.  Be on the lookout for wildlife!

Another option is to arrive earlier and take the Wonders of the Lodge Tour, which is offered Wednesday through Saturday at 9:00 AM.  This tour takes you through the entire resort and offers an in depth look into the design and theme.  Whatever you decide, you will likely fall in love with the Wilderness Lodge Resort!

    Much pixie dust,
