Our 1st WDW vacay and our kids are 2 and 1 and both eat table food. We are staying off property but have reservation at Tusker House, Akershus, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys, and TRex. All of which are buffet it seems, how does this work with kids/price?

Hello Kandace.  I am so excited to hear about your Walt Disney World vacation.  Your family is going to have a great time!  I must say, you have picked out some really great dining options.

I think you will be happy to know that kids 3 and under can eat free at Walt Disney World restaurants.   At all-you-care-to-eat locations kids 3 and under can eat from the buffet for no extra charge.  At restaurants where everyone orders their own meal, like T-REX,  your children can share from your plate for free.  If you don't want to share with your children, you can order something from the menu for additional charge.

I hope you and your family have a great time on vacation.  Happy eating!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
