Hi Sandra:
My young kids love to spend time at Walt Disney World's playgrounds in-between rides, meals, and attractions. These play areas are open to older children, so as always, make sure to keep an active eye on your crawler.
In Magic Kingdom, there is a toddler-sized playground located near the entrance to Splash Mountain. While small in size, we enjoy this playground because it’s near restrooms and is a quick walk to the nearby Magic Kingdom railroad. After some play time in the playground, our family hops on the train for a loop around the park. There are also play areas on Tom Sawyer Island.
Remember to check out the playgrounds in the other parks, such as the 11,000-square-foot larger-than-life Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure play area at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and The Boneyard, a dinosaur-themed playground at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
