Hello. I have a WDW vacation planned for April 2015 and i would like to know if we need a park entrance ticket to access character dining restaurants inside the parks and if so can i choose to go to a separate park the same day?

Kimesha your family must be excitingly counting down the days, as your magical trip is fast approaching! It sounds like you are planning a wonderful vacation for your family. I greatly enjoy the character dining, as it gives you the opportunity to sit back, relax, fuel up and let the characters you love come right to your table!

To access any of the restaurants that are within the Parks, valid Park Admission is required for each member of your party. If you would like to have the flexibility and convenience to visit a different park that same day, you would need to add the Park Hopper Option to your Park Tickets. I love being able to have the freedom to bounce like Tigger from one park to another during the day. If you do not already have the Park Hopper Option, you can call (407) 939-5277 and a wonderful cast member will be able to let you know if your tickets may be upgraded to feature this exciting option.

Thank you so much, Kimesha for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Feel free to reach out to us again anytime. I am wishing you and your family a pixie dusted time during your visit!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
