Hi, 1st WDW vacation, me, mom, 10 yr old brother, 8/20/13-8/27/13. 5-6 days at 4 theme parks. Planned park days - Wed: HS, Thurs: Epcot, Fri: MK, Sat: AK (per undercover tourist crowd calendar). Recommend how many days per park? Hotel shuttle p/u @7:55am.

    Hi Loo,

You must be so excited for your upcoming vacation! Be sure to pack some handheld fans and plenty of sunscreen. It will most likely be HOT. Drink plenty of water too. You can bring plastic bottles with you into the park, so make sure you stock up before you leave your hotel, especially if you are planning to stay for the entire day.

Undercover tourist is a great resource for anticipating crowd levels. As far as which parks to visit on your extra days, that's always a matter of personal opinion. My recommendation would be 2 days at Magic Kingdom. If you're looking for another park to spend  two days at, I recommend Epcot or Hollywood Studios (depending on which you like better or what the anticipated crowds will be).

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
