WDW trip planned for 9/21/2013 for 9 days. I have purchased 6 day park tickets, so we can rest during the middle of trip. I was wondering if flight arrives at 10:50 am will there be time to visit parks that day or should we plan on staying at resort.

    Hi Heather!

It sounds like you have a wonderful holiday planned!
With 9 days at Walt Disney World and a 6-day park ticket, you'll have plenty of time to visit all four parks, enjoy some rest and relaxation, and even throw in some added nightlife, shopping and sight-seeing at Downtown Disney!

With a flight arrival time of 10:50am, you can likely plan on arriving at your Disney Resort Hotel at about 12:30-1:00pm. Resort Check-in times are usually 3:00 - 4:00pm, however you'll still be able to leave your bags with Bell Services, pick up your Key to The World Cards and head straight on out into all the fun and magic that awaits you!

If you're traveling with little ones, I'd recommend that you consider heading straight into Magic Kingdom on your first day. Grab some lunch at your resort hotel Quick Service area first and then head straight on out! In late September, Magic Kingdom is typically open until 9pm most evenings, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the afternoon and perhaps even dinner in the park. On certain nights, a special event called Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party begins at 7pm. Be sure to check back on the site over the next few months for party date announcements and ticket sales. It's a great evening event to consider adding to your plans!

Park Hours are usually posted 6 months in advance, so be sure to check back into March and April for the park hours and Extra Magic Hours during your stay.

If you have additional questions about your upcoming stay, or would like some dining recommendations, please feel free to write me back. I'd love to hear from you again Heather!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
