1st WDW trip, in Oct. How easy is it to PH? How long does it take to get from AOA to parks? What is the best way to get from park to park and how long do it take? What time tdo buses start? We have an 8:00 breakfast @ Akershus for DD4? LOVE THIS PANEL!!

    Hi Pamela,

You are going to have so much fun during your very first visit to Walt Disney World!

There is a fantastic transportation wizard tool which I like to use available at www.ourlaughingplace.com.

It allows you to enter where you will be travelling to and from within Walt Disney World and then provides details on the best route(s) to take as well as giving an indication of the amount of time that the journey will take. I would add an extra 20 minutes onto each estimated time to allow for the time which may be spent waiting for your designated mode of transport to arrive.

Officially, Disney's complimentary transportation is available one hour prior to Disney Theme Park opening time. If there are morning Extra Magic Hours this will be one hour prior to the start of the Extra Magic Hours.

My family have never experienced any problems at all in using Disney's complimentary transportation to get us to early morning dining reservations. I would suggest that you speak to a Cast Member at Guest Services when you arrive at your Resort hotel to confirm that the complimentary Disney buses will be operating early enough to get you to your 8.00am breakfast reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall on time.

I hope that this helps with your planning and wish you a magical trip!
