1st WDW trip Nov30-Dec8.I have reservations at Chef Mickeys on arrival day. Would like to check out the gingerbread house at the GF afterwards. How many stops is it from the Contempoary on the monorail and where do i go when i get off? Love the moms panel!

    Hi Rebecca,

Holidays at Walt Disney World are certainly a sight to see, and the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian is certainly one you don't want to miss.

The Grand Floridian will be the third stop after the Transportation & Ticket Center and Polynesian Resort.  When you exit the monorail, you'll be on the second floor of the resort.  The gingerbread house is on the first floor in the lobby.  You'll be able to see it as soon as you enter the resort.  In fact, you may want to take some pictures from the second floor before heading downstairs.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
