    WDW trip on 1/25/12. We have dinner scheduled at California Grill but I am reading varied comments regarding the Dining Plan there. Some say you get entree, drink, dessert but some say they also got an appetizer. True? Can you swap an app for dessert?

    Hi Julie - whether or not you get an appetizer for lunch or dinner depends upon which Disney Dining Plan that you have.  The standard plan does not include an appetizer with lunch or dinner, but the deluxe does.

    As for whether or not you can swap an appetizer for dessert, it is possible, but the final decision is subject to the restaurant's approval.  I'd certainly ask your server if that's something you like to do. 

    Enjoy the California Grill - it's one of my favorite restaurants!
