1st WDW trip Dec 10-20 2011... A friend suggested instead of renting a stroller at WDW, we could buy one (cheaper) and have it shipped to the POFQ where we are staying. At the end of our trip, pass it on to another family at the resort. Any thoughts???

    Hi Stacy!

Renting a stroller is very expensive at Walt Disney World.  In fact, I think it is generally less expensive to rent a car than it is to rent a stroller.  Also, the strollers are not very comfortable, especially for young children.  Also, if you rent one in the parks, you won't have it at your hotel, etc.

I think this is a great idea.  Another idea is to buy an umbrella stroller once you arrive at Walt Disney World.  They are for sale in all of the resort hotels.  It might be more expensive than shipping one from home, but it's definitely cheaper than renting one from the parks!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
