    We have been to WDW many times & have seen different families open the park at Magic Kingdom is this an extra tour you can pay for? We are going the last weekend in June and are trying to surprise with a once in a lifetime expericnce! Thanks for help!

    Hi Sean!

    This is a great question.  Unfortunately, the family selected to open the Magic Kingdom is selected at random.  If you would like to try for it, I suggest being at the Magic Kingdom at least 90 minutes before park opening.  It helps with everybody seems cheerful and enthusiastic if a Disney Cast Member comes by.  I have also heard that it helps if the family is all wearing the same t-shirt (like a reunion t-shirt or something), but I don't know if that's really true.
