Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy! I have two young kids, and have lugged by sweet baby all over Walt Disney World Resort! When it comes to Dining, my family has experienced buffet, quick service and character meals with our kids, so I hope I can help.
When my family visits a Quick-Service Restaurant, like my favorite lunch at Magic Kingdom’s Casey’s Corner, we’ll either send Dad in to order or use
Mobile Order and pull our stroller right up to the patio table. Other times at Pinocchio's, we’ll grab a complimentary high chair and use a few Lysol wipes to clean it up. When it comes time for a Table Service meal, it was definitely a challenge to dine with a baby that couldn’t quite sit up in a highchair, and that was when babywearing was my solution. I have a soft Baby K’Tan active, which was incredibly breathable and could stuff into our diaper bag. With a quick don, I was ready to hold my baby girl, order and dine appropriately. Then, the other grown-ups at the table would take turns holding her so that I could finish my meal or wash up and retrieve the hungry baby. I also recommend the Lillebaby airflow, a more structured carrier that is built for warm and humid climates, so it doesn’t overheat anyone attached to it. You can also babywear or a number of attractions like It’s a Small World. I have lots of photos of my family boat-bound for a musical journey.
Remember the Baby Care Centers, which are ready for your use, to feed, nap, change or resupply your baby. You can also visit the
Moms Panel Video Library for videos on making travel with kids easier. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask me another one! ~ Lindsey P.
