We have been to WDW many times never heard of goodnight kiss. What is it? Where is it? What time does it take place? Thank you.

    Hi Cindy!

Great question! The "goodnight kiss" or sometimes called "kiss goodnight" is a unpublished secret and many guests don't realize that they are experiencing it! The goodnight kiss is a light, music and narration sequence which occurs in the Magic Kingdom's Main Street Area. It usually takes place about 20-30 minutes after the Wishes Nighttime Fireworks and lasts about 3 minutes. You will know it has started when you hear the "When you wish upon a star" song playing and you will see Cinderella's Castle light up and even twinkle. Then you will hear a voice thanking guests for visiting the Magic Kingdom. Just like a goodnight kiss, it a way for Disney to bid farewell to their guests for the night!

I can tell you from experience, it is so lovely, that it can even give you chills!

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
