I have been to WDW over 10 times but never to either of the water parks. We want to take our 2 year old son and 4 year old daughter when we go this April. My question is if one of the water parks caters to the younger children more than the other?

    Hi there Jason,

I just love making a splash at the Walt Disney World Resort water parks.  It's such a relaxing way to chill out, cool off, and spend a few hours away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks!  There are two unique water parks at Walt Disney World and each has it's own original features and attractions.

As Mom to a five year old, I have to say, I think you'll like Blizzard Beach better than Typhoon Lagoon because Blizzard Beach has specific areas tailored to meet the needs of little ones and grown ups alike which equals FUN for the entire family!

I recently answered a question about Blizzard Beach here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel and it talks about why I think this water park is an ideal choice for families with younger children!  There's even a fun video!

    Enjoy!
