Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have to be honest, Melissa. As much as I LOVE spending quality time with my family at the Happiest Place on Earth, I absolutely treasure "me-time" during solo trips to the Disneyland Resort. I have no routine to adhere to, it's easy to snag a table without dining reservations, and I can take advantage of single rider lines without worrying about the kids.
For breakfast, sometimes I splurge on a hearty New York Steak and Eggs plate at
Steakhouse 55. It's a great way to stay full with all the protein. Other times, I find it just as satisfying grabbing a coffee and pastry at Starbucks or a Jamba Juice smoothie in Disney Downtown District, then having my breakfast on the go while strolling down Main Street, U.S.A.
There are several great table service restaurants for dinner at the Disneyland Resort. At Disneyland Park, I like Cafe Orleans and Blue Bayou Restaurant. Over at Disney California Adventure Park, I love Carthay Circle Restaurant. But for a more casual experience, you can opt for Carthay Circle Lounge for cocktails and small plates.
Cove Bar is also another fun place to enjoy an adult beverage and tasty bar foods. Because I enjoy spicy foods,
Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in Disney's Downtown District is another go-to for me.
I hope this information is helpful and gets your appetite going! I wish you a fun-filled solo trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Melissa. Please visit us on the Panel again for more tips and advice on planning your vacation.
Have a magical day,
Kiki
