Hi!!! WDW for the 1st time!!! staying off site, visiting MK, HS and AK, 63 yr old mom traveling with us can´t walk long distances, renting a weelchair at parks but worried about parking, is there some kind of privileged parking even if it costs more??

    Hi Maribel,

They do have Handicapped parking spaces located closer to the front entrance of the Theme Parks, but you do need to have a Handicapped sign in the window of your car to park there.  There is no way of "paying extra" to get closer, but sometimes if you ask a cast member in the parking lot for help on where to park with your mom who has difficulty walking, the cast member may offer you a solution (sometimes they keep a few spots available that are next to handicapped parking spots and closer to the front gates in case guests like yourself may need a little extra assistance, but yet are not officially "Handicapped").  Hope this helps you, the cast members are very helpful too, don't hesitate asking them for advise or help.  Have a great 1st trip to WDW!

    Best wishes,
