We're going to WDW 6-14 to 6-18 for the 1st time. My son's birthday is 6-11, and I hope to make it special for him. We're going with a group and have some meals together. I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the sites and info, any suggestions for how to plan

    Hi Andie!

First of all, be sure to order your free Walt Disney World planning DVD, though it may not arrive in time for your trip in a couple of weeks.  You can request it here

I also recommend picking up a copy of the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It's carried online and at a lot of large bookstores; you should be able to get it very quickly.  It's a great book for first time visitors with just the right amount of information without being overwhelming.  It's also a beautiful book full of fabulous photos.  It will quickly give you a feel for what there is to do at Walt Disney World.

A great site to look at is AllEars.Net.  It's an independent webs site, but absolutely packed with information about visiting Walt Disney World.  Also, don't worry about trying to do everything in a few short days.  You can't!  Walt Disney Word is the crown jewel of the theme park industry; most guests will have a great time even with almost no planning!

Write back if you have any more questions!
