We are going to WDW for the 1st time but only for one day. My daughter is 4yr old & loves Mickey! Is Breakfast w/ Chef Mickey worth missing the opening of Magic Kingdom? Is the lunch experience just as good? Is there much of a price difference?

    Leticia, who doesn't love Mickey!?

For a one day Magic Kingdom visit, the opening ceremony is a must see event. The dramatic music, the characters, and the excitement of the rope drop is a magical way to start your Disney day. Plus the lines are so much shorter the first hour or so the park is open!

You can eat your eggs and bacon and see the rope drop too. Chef Mickey's traditionally begins serving at 7:00 am so if you make an early reservation you will easily be able to reach the park in time for a 9:00 am opening. If the park opens earlier on the day of your visit or your family are not much for early mornings, breakfast typically lasts until 11:20, so you also have the option of booking one of the last seatings. After you hit a few rides, just walk over or hop on the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort for your brunch.

Dinner is also an good option at Chef Mickey's. The classic Disney Five Fab appear, a scrumptious buffet is offered, and you will be ready to sit down and relax by suppertime. Usually served from 5:00 pm- 9:30 pm, the evening meal runs about a couple of dollars more for kids and about $10.00 more for adults than breakfast. Lunch is not served at Chef Mickey's.

Enjoy your Mickey waffles with Mickey!
