We're going to WDW for the 1st time in Feb. 2012 & staying 5 days. Will visit Magic & Animal Kingdoms. Any advice on what we should do & see with our 4 year old daughter? Any other parks or what attractions at the 2 we're visiting? Feeling ov

    Hello Nikki,

Your little Princess is going to feel like royalty after her first visit to Disney World! I just know you'll see that twinkle in her eyes and it will melt your heart.

Every Princess must visit Cinderella's Castle so a trip to the Magic Kingdom is certainly in order. Be sure to stop by Town Square Theatre to meet up with Mickey and Minnie. Then head next door to visit with some of the Disney Princesses. And while Fantasyland is undergoing its largest expansion to date, many of Disney's beloved attractions are still open: Dumbo, Peter Pan's Flight, and It's A Small World. I'm sure your daughter will enjoy The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh too!

At Animal Kingdom, be sure to explore the trails. And if she wants a chance to get close to the animals, take a ride on the Kilimanjaro Safaris. If your daughter wants to  meet more of her favorite characters, Camp Minnie-Mickey is a great spot to hit. Like music? Your family will want to see Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Musical. I love 3D attractions but when my daughter was younger, It's Tough To Be A Bug was a little unsettling for her. The dark theatre mixed with some "surprises" really frightened her. You know your daughter best so this one is a personal call.

Because you have five days at Disney World, I absolutely think it's worth it to discover what Epcot and Hollywood Studios as to offer. Your entire family will enjoy Soarin' at Epcot. And you can peruse all of the nations in World Showcase. And it's difficult to pass up your shot at Toy Story Midway Mania! I always try to compete with my daughter...and I tend to lose! But it's always a lot of fun!

Don't feel overwhelmed...all of your friends here on the Moms Panel are here to help! I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Meet the Panelist: Monina, Ohio

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
