    Hi we are going to WDW for the 1st time ever in October. I hear that there is a discount on the dining packages in October but I do not see anything listed. Is that true?

    Hi Julianne,

    I am so glad you are visiting Walt Disney World in October.  This is my favorite time of the year to come to the most magical place on Earth!  The weather is fantastic with highs in the 70's and lows in the 50s, and the crowds are low.  I want you to know about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that is a special event starting at 7 pm in the Magic Kingdom.  This will require a separate ticket, and you will be able to go Trick-or-Treating throughout the park.  My family loves dressing up in costumes and seeing all the characters do the same.  At this point, Julianne, I do not know of any discount on Dining Packages in October.  The free dining ends on September 29th.  This may change at any time, but as of right now, there are no special dining deals after the end of September.
