Going to WDW for 1st time 11/13-18/10 w/ DH, DD (11), DS (8). Staying off property at time-share. Can yo suggest an itinerary for us? We have MVMCP tickets for 11/16. Do you suggest PH tickets? I am trying to decide if we should spend 1 day at BB?

    Dan:

Because you're coming at one of the lowest weeks of the year for crowds, you may find that sticking to a plan may not be necessary, nor getting the Park Hopper ticket.  Additionally, because you're staying off-property, you won't be able to participate in Extra Magic Hours, but honestly, during Value Season, they're not as necessary to take advantage of.

Saturday, 11/13: Epcot. The Food & Wine Festival ends this weekend. If you want to partake, today's the day.
Sunday, 11/14: Disney's Hollywood Studios so you can see Fantasmic and avoid EMH.
Monday, 11/15: Magic Kingdom so you can see the fireworks and avoid EMH.
Tuesday, 11/16: Animal Kingdom can be done in 1/2 a day, so you'll have plenty of time to get ready for MVMCP.
Wednesday, 11/17: Epcot. Feel free to sleep in a little if you need to from the late night of MVMCP because you've already enjoyed Epcot a little earlier in the week.
Thursday, 11/18: pick your favorite from the week to return.

If you only want to go to Blizzard Beach once, the price is $48.99 with tax.  For $54 plus tax, you can add on the Water Parks & More option onto your ticket and get equal visits to Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon (although it is closed to refurbishment during your visit), DisneyQuest, and a round of golf at Oak Trail to the number of days on your ticket. For example, if you buy the 6-day base ticket, you'll get 6 visits from these to choose.  It's a better value than the Park Hopper because your kids are old enough to do the parks thoroughly, and the crowds won't be large enough to need to go from one park to the next. Regardless of what you do, don't upgrade your base ticket until you get to Disney World so you'll know if weather is best for Blizzard Beach.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
