We have been to WDW many time as a couple, interested in finding something new to do with in the parks. Any hidden tips you can give us? We will be there for the Night of Joy celebration.

    Hey there Marcy,

After having visited the Magic Kingdom umpteen times, I tend to like to take it easy nowadays, while slowing down to enjoy those off the beaten path activities that not everyone realizes are there!

Here are my favorite "not your average" Magic Kingdom pastimes:

    1) Enjoy a Dole Whip Pineapple Float from Aloha Isle in Adventureland.  This fruity, frozen concoction has a cult following among Disney fans and after one sip, you'll know why!

    2) Cruise the scenic Rivers of America aboard the Liberty Belle Riverboat, but this time, ask the captain if you can ride in the pilot's house, up top!  You'll get to sign the book and receive a special riverboat pilot's license!

    3) Grab a snack and hop aboard the People Mover in Tomorrowland.  This lesser known attraction is free of bells and whistles, but serves as the most relaxing place to take in the sights and people watch while recharging.

    4) Pick up a copy of Hidden Mickey's from any Disney shop and set out on a scavenger hunt of sorts to see how many you can find.  Thousands of Hidden Mickey's have been scattered throughout the parks and you could make a whole day of just hunting for the cute little guys!

    5) Take time to stop and smell the roses... and the popcorn, and the freshly made chocolate.  The magic is everywhere and my most magical experiences have happened unexpectedly!

I am out of room, so please write back to me for tips on finding off the beaten path activities in the other parks!
