    We will be going to WDW for the 1st. time in Aug.,we have 5 daughters 17, 15, 15, 12 and 9 years old. We are DVC members and this is our first vacation,do we get a welcome package in our room or do we have to purchase it? And if so,what do you recommend?

    Hi Patricia! Congratulations on your Disney Vacation Club (DVC) membership and on your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort! You will receive a Welcome Home Packet at check-in to your DVC Resort,  however there usually are not any DVC items in your Villa upon your arrival. I would recommend that you attend the Welcome Home Wednesday event and enjoy a great opportunity to meet fellow DVC members, enjoy some entertainment, grab a few snacks and of course a few DVC give-a-ways. In addition, you can contact Disney Floral & Gifts and arrange for a DVC gift package to be waiting in your Villa upon your arrival. The DVC items and packages can be found on their website, http://ftdfloristsonline.com/disneyfloralandgifts/ and the DVC Welcome Home Family Pack might be exactly what you are looking for.
