WE are going to WDW for the 1st time April 2 - April 6. How will the crowds be at this time? We have a 12 and 9 yr olds.

Hi, Herbert!  You are coming just before Easter Sunday, so you can expect crowds to be a little on the heavier side.  Many schools are off for their spring break that week, and a lot of families take the opportunity to go to Walt Disney World!

Don't worry about the crowds, though.  Go in with a strategy, and you should do fine.  We like to dine at off peak times (early lunches or later dinners), and always utilize the Fast Pass option for the attractions that offer it.  You may also sometimes find a Single Rider Line at things like Test Track in EPCOT.  If your party is willing to ride separately, you may get through the lines faster.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you may want to use the extra magic hours to give you time in the parks that the general public won't have.  That will give you a chance to do some things before the bulk of the crowds arrives.

    Have a great vacation!
