Hi, We will be at WDW the third week of November of this year and I was wondering about the weather. Will we need jackets at night? What about wearing shorts or capris during the day? We will have children in our group and I want them to be comfortable

    Hi Debbie,

Welcome to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! I'm happy to offer some insight on the November weather in Central Florida.

You normally can expect to find high temperatures near 80, even approaching Thanksgiving. Lows usually are somewhere in the high 50s.

Shorts or capris should be perfect during the day, but I would suggest you plan to dress in layers. Early in the morning or once the sun goes down, you probably will want a light jacket.

I'm not sure where you live but, as a long-time Floridian, I'd also like to remind you that sunscreen is a must here year-round. Even when the temperature is mild, the sun is still relatively intense and it is easy to get a sunburn without realizing it.

I hope you have a wonderful -- and comfortable -- visit. Please let me know if I can help in any way as you continue to make your plans. Enjoy!
