    I am going to be in WDW for Thanksgiving this year. I thought I read somewhere that there is a Thanksgiving Dinner for DVC members at the Contemporary, but now I can't find it. Is there a special dinner?

    Hi Lorissa, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays is such a special time. What a wonderful time for your family to reconnect, share time together and create lasting memories. I am sure it will be a Thanksgiving to remember!

    Lorissa, you are quite correct that the last few years Disney has hosted special Thanksgiving Day meals exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members and their guests at Disney's Contemporary Resort. In the past, these dinners included a fantastic feast of delicious traditional Thanksgiving fare, and also provided Character meet and greet and photo opportunities, as well as entertainment and fun for the whole family. While there is no guarantee this event will be offered again this year, I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Vacation Club member website this fall for any details or announcements regarding possible events this year.

    Liberty Tree Tavern is also a very popular choice for Thanksgiving. The Patriot's Platter will come complete with all the traditional fixin's, like roast turkey, mashed potatoes, herb stuffing and roasted vegetables. Keep watching the Disney Parks Blog this fall to see what other Disney restaurants may have special meals planned for Thanksgiving.
