We will be at WDW over Tanksgiving, 2018. Where can we be served a "traditional" Thanksgiving dinner for our family of seven?

    Hi Doris,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of my favorite family-style restaurants is Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom. The Dinner Menu includes the Patriot's Platter which comes with roasted turkey breast, pot roast and carved pork roast along with several yummy sides. When I visited in January of this year with friends, we had the best time dining at Liberty Tree Tavern. Since this meal is served family style, it truly feels as if you are at your grandparents' house with the entire family.

The decor of Liberty Tree Tavern also feels very colonial and that adds to the Thanksgiving day charm. When you enter the restaurant, you really feel as though you have been transported back in time. It is quite beautiful in it's simplicity!

Of course, there are other Thanksgiving day dining options. Check out this Disney parks Blob Post on Best Bites: November 2017 to see a few other options for the Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure also to take a look at the other Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort activities. If you can see the Candlelight Processional or experience Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party while visiting, please do and be sure to make dining reservations! The beauty of the holiday season continues after Thanksgiving and simply lights up the parks and resorts.

Doris, I am sending pixie dust your way hoping that you have a little unexpected magic during your visit!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
