Going to WDW 4/16-22 and staying at the AOA with our 5, 4 and 2 yo. I see that it is recommended that I book dining reservations in advance. Could you please provide recommendations? We have a Disney Dining Plan - 2 table, 1 quick serve. TIA!

    Hello, Jennifer!

There are many wonderful dining opportunities at Walt Disney World Resort. From signature dining to character dining to quick service options, there is something for everyone. Advanced dining reservations are recommended as table restaurants are popular and fill up quickly. Here are a few of my favorites:

    • Chef Mickey's at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is home to my family's favorite all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet where Mickey Mouse and Pals make their way to your table to pose for photos and sign autographs. Our favorite is the dinner buffet as it offers many selections that appeal to all ages, even picky eaters.

    • Your preschoolers may enjoy Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Hollywood & Vine where they can meet Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Handy Manny. This dining experience is offered daily during breakfast and lunch hours only.

    • Just this week it was announced that Minnie Mouse will be hosting Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine dinner year round. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more information about this seasonal dining opportunity. It looks fun!

    • Mickey's Backyard BBQ is an all-you-care-to-enjoy BBQ and music-filled show with Mickey Mouse and friends. My family loves the dancing and food at this famous hoedown.

    • Tony's Town Square Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom and Coral Reef Restaurant at Epcot are both great venues for little ones. Be sure to save room for the cheesecake as both restaurants!

I hope you find these suggestions helpful. If you would like more dining suggestions or have other questions, please let me know. I'm happy to help!
