Hi Danny!
Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love when our long-time friends come back to check in. And I see that you love
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! There's a reason why this beloved dinner show has been running continuously since 1974; I think it's because guests like us love the songs, the jokes, and the Straw! Berry! Short! Cake!
Yes, you will be able to get back to your Disney Resort Hotel after the 8:30 showing. As you may remember, Pioneer Hall is located in a part of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground called 'The Settlement.' This area is accessible by either a water taxi or via Fort Wilderness' very own inner-resort bus loop. And as you might also recall, Disney Resort Transportation buses do not travel between resort hotels, they go resort hotel-to-theme park or resort hotel-to-Disney-Springs-only. The good news is that you do have options.
After the show lets out between 10:15 and 10:30, you'll take the inner-resort bus to the entrance of Fort Wilderness. From here, your best bet for getting back 'home' would be to take the bus to Disney Springs as resort hotel buses head that way until 1 A.M. every day. From Disney Springs you can hop on your correct bus right away, or you can stay and play until 2 A.M., which is the 'last call' and pickup of Disney Resort Hotel guests.
Another option, depending on the
Park Hours for that day, is to take the water taxi from The Settlement area of Fort Wilderness to Magic Kingdom Park. Boats run until 1 hour after Magic Kingdom closes for the night while buses will continue to pick up until 2 hours after the park closing, so you could boat back and catch your correct Resort Hotel bus with one transfer instead of two.
We'll See You Real Soon!
