Hi! Going to WDW very soon (Sept). My family has reservations for Chef Mickey's the same morning we are heading to MK w/our 2 yr old. Planning on driving to the Contemporary, but can we leave our car at the hotel the whole day and walk/monorail to MK?

    Hey, Miranda!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited for your upcoming trip in a couple of weeks. You will love Magic Kingdom Park decorated in fall decor.

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's is the best way to start any day at Walt Disney World Resort. You may park complimentary at Disney's Contemporary Resort for up to three hours while you enjoy your dining experience. Afterward, you would need to move your car to the Transportation and Ticket Center (parking lot for Magic Kingdom Park) and either take the ferry or Walt Disney World Monorail to the theme park entrance.

Disney Dad Tip: I would suggest calling Disney's Contemporary Resort the night before your dining reservation and ask them when the Resort Monorail will start running the morning of your reservation. If the Resort Monorail is running before your dining reservation, you may want to drive to the Transportation and Ticket Center and park your car first then take the Resort Monorail around the Seven Seas Lagoon to Disney's Contemporary Resort. After your meal, you can travel the Walkway to Magic Kingdom Park.

Miranda, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories!
