Will be at WDW in Sept/Oct this year. Was wondering if the MNSSHP was worth the extra ticket or not? We have 2 kids will be 5 and almost 2. What will they be doing during that time in the park?? Any response is very appreciated!!!!

My family experienced Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this past October, & we were seriously wowed by it.

I was amazed at how much the Magic Kingdom had transformed; the Cast Members had special outfits, fun Halloween music was playing, special effects lighting & everything just had a cute Halloween vibe to it! My family actually stood dumbfounded for a few minutes on Main Street just soaking it all in.

Almost all of the kids in the Park were wearing their costumes. My kids didn't have costumes, & they didn't feel out of place, so costumes are not required for this event.  Upon entering Magic Kingdom a Cast Member gave us event wrist bands & Trick-or-Treat bags.

Throughout the park there were Trick-or-Treat stations set up for the kids to gather candy. My 6 year old daughter was so tickled by this she still talks about it!

A Villain themed stage show took place in front of the castle, a Halloween themed parade & fireworks rounded out the evening.

If your 5 year old likes Halloween trick-or-treating then this event could be worth it for your family. We are certified Halloween lovers in my house & now that we've experienced MNSSHP we don't want to miss it next year!

I hope that your family has a Magical fall trip to Disney World!
