Going to WDW in September for a mom's weekend. Four military wives and homeschool moms that are looking forward to a break from our kids for a few days! What experiences and dining do you recommend for a fun and relaxing few days?:)

Hello, Elaina. Oh my goodness that sounds like such a fun trip! I will admit that I've only been to Walt Disney World twice without my son since he's been born, however, I had so much fun on those trips that I think I will make it a tradition and write it off as a 'mental health vacation'. Ha! Last May my Moms Panelist friend Ana F. and I had our very own mom's weekend that was full of sophisticated fun. Since it was a kid-free trip, Ana asked me to sit down and make a list of all of the restaurants, attractions and experiences that I couldn't do at Walt Disney World with my son. For example, my son is a picky eater, so restaurants with adventurous menus were mostly out of the question along with many of my favorite thrill rides. On this trip we prioritized restaurants and attractions that we normally don't get to experience. I highly suggest using this as a starting off point for planning purposes. Have each of your mom friends write down a restaurant, attraction, or other experience that they'd love to do. Treat yourselves! Here are some of my own ideas to consider:

*Lounges- Walt Disney World has some pretty fantastic adult lounges. I love the Tambu Lounge and the all-new Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. La Cava Del Tequila at the Epcot World Showcase is very popular with the class of 2015 Moms Panelists, and they'd probably vote me off the island if I didn't suggest it to you.

*Restaurants- The California Grill, The BOATHOUSE, Jiko - The Cooking Place, and the Yachtsman Steakhouse are all fabulous signature dining experiences, and if you want to get really fancy, wear your best dress for an elegant meal at Victoria & Albert's.

*Senses Spa- Indulge in a massage, pedicure or a manicure at the Senses Spa. There is one located at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and another at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

I'm running out of space, but if you need any more ideas, stop back in and we'd be happy to help! Have a magical mom's weekend!
