I am going to WDW in september. I am trying to narrow down choices for ADRs. Would you choose Kona Cafe or Ohana for dinner. We have 4 adults and an almost 4 year old. Thank you!

Hi Jessica!  Thanks for stopping by with your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If I were you, I'd pick dinner at 'Ohana hands down.  'Ohana, for dinner, happens to be my family's favorite meal at Walt Disney World.  We love it so much, we try to get 2 reservations while on vacation.  The food just cannot be beat.  On the menu you will find all-you-care-to-enjoy steak, pork, and shrimp cooked in the middle of the restaurant on a wood fire grill brought right to your table.  The starters and sides are amazing too - I love the pork dumplings.  While you eat you will be able to enjoy dining room entertainment like hula dancing, coconut races and the limbo.  It's such a fun time and not just for kiddos.  If you time your reservation just right, about 45 minutes to an hour prior to the nighttime fireworks over Magic Kingdom, you will be in for a special treat.  About the time you are enjoying a delicious dessert of bread pudding with bananas foster sauce, the restaurant will dim the lights and pipe in the music from the show.  You will have a great view of the fireworks.  It's a perfect way to end a wonderful day at Walt Disney World.

I'm sure if you'd ask other panelist here, you may get different answers but my vote is for 'Ohana.  I hope this helps, if you have any other questions please come back and ask.  Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
