We are going to WDW in SEptember with a 8 month old. We are bringing our own stroller, but was wondering if we can bring it on our plane? Ive heard we can and heard we cant. We are flying on delta. Any ideas?

    Hi David,

Definitely plan to bring your stroller to Walt Disney World.  I promise you'll be glad you have it with you at the parks, your resort, and at the airport.  You will be able to take your stroller on the plane with you, just not in the main cabin.  At the end of the walkway leading to the plane, you will be asked to fold up your stroller just before you board.  The airline employees will tag it with your name and stow it below the passenger compartment.  Then, after your flight arrives, you will find your stroller waiting for you at the plane exit.  You can put your little one in the stroller and then head off to baggage claim for your luggage.

I certainly encourage you to visit Delta's website to see if they have any additional instructions for people traveling with small children but the procedure I described above is fairly standard among airlines.

Have fun in September!  Thanks for posting your question to the Moms Panel.
