Hi, we will be @ WDW in Sept and I am wondering how hard it is to navigate the parks? How long does it take to get from one side of a park to the other? We are wanting to enjoy our time but I am worried about somehow missing our dinner reservations.

    Hi there, Amanda!

You've hit upon a significant factor that plays into reservations and Park time: the actual logistics of getting around the Parks.

It's a challenging question, though. Every Park is a different size! Animal Kingdom is huge and sprawling, for instance, while Disney's Hollywood Studios is much more compact in size.

You should figure on leaving a half-hour to 45 minutes for walking anywhere in a park to your restaurant. That's a nice, leisurely pace, and accommodates most walking speeds. It also allows for foot traffic that might cause you to slow down, etc.

If you build that time in in advance, you will have no problem hitting those times. And do remember that the reservation isn't released immediately, there are a few minutes of "grace" for Guests.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
