We are going to be going to WDW in Sept and I am trying to look at restaurants to go to while we are at WDW. For dinner I was thinking of Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom to celebrate my sons 3rd birthday. What are the prices for dinner? and bday cake?

    Hi Christina:

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World.  September is a wonderful time of year to visit.  Crowds tend to thin a bit after the summer rush because many kids are back in school by September.  The weather also starts to cool from summer highs.

Liberty Tree Tavern is a wonderful restaurant, serving traditional American fare.  Prices are always subject to change and generally varies by a few dollars depending on time of year and even day of the week.  I would expect a cost of around $34 per adult and $17 per child, but I would confirm with the reservationist when making your dining reservation and a few weeks before your trip.

Disney restaurants (except Victoria and Alberts) carry a Celebrate Today cake in chocolate or vanilla that can serve up to five.  Although subject to change, this cake costs about $21, plus tax and any gratuity.  Simply order the cake when you check in at the restaurant front podium.  If you would like to order a larger or customized cake, please call the cake hotline in advance at 407-827-2253.  Prices will vary depending on size and customization.

    Enjoy your vacation.
