I will be in WDW Sept. 13-20th. Can you tell me if I should do Mickeys Not So Scarey Halloween Party. I have a 3 1/2 & 2 year old boys. My older son really does not like loud noises, and he gets scared very easily?

    Hi Michele,

If I were in your situation and knowing this particular age of your children, I would probably not bother with Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party just yet!  As you probably know, this is a separate ticket event that you will need to purchase additional tickets for and they are quite costly in my opinion....but worth the experience if you can enjoy it!  If your children were a bit older and you could guarantee that they would love this experience then I am sure everyone would enjoy this particular event.  With your older son especially being scared very easily and not liking loud noises, I can't see that this would be much fun for him.  The fireworks are amazing...but loud, Mickey and friends are dressed in costume for this special event and even though I could never see these characters as scary, if I look at it from your children's viewpoint and at their ages I would hate to think that Mickey and his pals would be a scary thought for them.....they should be happy character memories, not memories that will remind them of bad things.  In a few years when you visit again..and I am sure you will visit again, once you've experienced that Disney Magic you will want to come back for more!!!!  At that time I think you should try this party and hopefully you will all love it and have great memories that will last a lifetime.  I hope this helps and remember...you are the one that has to make the decision, this is only my opinion and what I would do if it were me in your shoes.  Good luck with whatever you decide!

    Have a magical day!
