Going to WDW Sept staying at CS, with Free Dining. With the new RFID mugs will they not be included in my dining plan now? The articles say they at some point will be added to the dining plan. Hoping they will still be included,

    Hi, Debbie!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your great question! At this point, there have been no official announcements from Disney regarding Radio Frequency ID [RFID] chips in the refillable mugs that you receive as part of the Disney Dining Plan. I have seen lots of speculation in different articles online this past week, but I try not to focus on any of it too much until I see an announcement directly from Disney. That's always the safest bet!

The best advice I can give you at this point is to keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog for upcoming announcements. If you're on Twitter and/or Facebook, be sure to "like" the Walt Disney World Facebook Page and "follow" @WaltDisneyWorld on twitter as they oftentimes will post Park updates there as well!

I'm sorry I can't provide more information, but we just don't have any at this point! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have as you're planning the details of your trip.

    Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
